Lauren is a Specialist Neuro Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for providing personalised, person-centred support to both adults and children.

Lauren graduated with a Distinction in her Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy and has experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and other complex neurological conditions. Her work has taken place across a range of settings, including specialist rehabilitation units, the community, education settings and in client’s own homes. Lauren is experienced in providing assessment and treatment within medico-legal and litigation claims, with a strong background in multidisciplinary team (MDT) working and liaising closely with solicitors and case managers.

Lauren provides Speech and Language Therapy for a wide range of communication, cognitive communication and swallowing difficulties. Lauren has particular interests in motor speech disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and complex dysphagia; including dysphagia rehabilitation, reintroduction of oral intake and sensory feeding difficulties. Lauren has additional post-graduate qualifications in dysphagia, and in paediatric dysphagia.

Lauren understands that no two people, or conditions, are the same. Therefore, Lauren will work collaboratively with you to create meaningful and achievable therapy goals. Lauren’s approach is evidence-based, practical and will be tailored to your individual needs.

Lauren believes that successful therapy should involve the people around you. Where appropriate, Lauren will work closely with families, carers, support staff and other professionals to provide practical strategies and support. This includes providing training and programmes of work that can be completed outside of our sessions together.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your loved one, or someone you care for; Lauren’s aim is to provide professional, compassionate and individualised Speech and Language Therapy that helps you to build confidence and independence, and have a better quality of life.
